Urban Renaissance Group has expanded its headquarters in the Joshua Green Building, at 1425 Fourth Ave.

URG moved to a larger space on the second floor, where it now has 13,000 square feet, designed by IA Interior Architects.

Some century-old terrazzo floor tile was rediscovered and there’s a new mural from local artist Sam Wood Wilson, plus a new kitchen and mixing area.

The drop-ceiling was removed, and seismic bracing was exposed. Two old skylights were cleared, and a third was added.

URG’s Pat Callahan said in a statement, “As we welcomed Touchstone into our office, this became the perfect way to grow our downtown footprint.”

Since 2012, Joshua Green Corp. has been the majority owner of URG, which acquired Touchstone in 2014.

The landmarked 1910 building is 80 percent leased.
