Leedom to Serve as Senior Development Manager as Company Continues to Grow Project Pipeline Across Pacific Northwest, Beyond

Seattle, WA November 7, 2022 – Commercial real estate firm Urban Renaissance Group LLC (www.urbanrengroup.com) (URG) today announced it has expanded its leadership with the addition of real estate and financial industry veteran to its Touchstone development team.

As Senior Development Manager, Bill Leedom will draw upon his industry experience in executing development strategies and plans as well as helping lead site and land acquisitions for multiple Touchstone projects.

Experienced Industry Executive to Serve as New Senior Development Manager

With more than two decades of financial industry and 15+ years of real estate industry experience, Leedom has extensive background in office and mixed-use projects, most recently overseeing development of the 800,000 sq. ft. Kirkland Urban mixed-use, pedestrian-oriented development that was successfully sold to Google.

Prior to joining Touchstone, Leedom also served in roles where he acquired, asset managed, developed and disposed of more than $8 billion dollars in real estate assets across more than thirty assets in different markets in the United States.

As a Seattle native, Leedom earned a Master’s of Business Administration in Real Estate from Columbia Business School. He also received a Bachelor’s in Economics and Accounting from Claremont McKenna College.

Urban Renaissance Group: Continued Growth Across the Pacific Northwest and Beyond

As Touchstone and Urban Renaissance Group continue to expand across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, the company has numerous development projects currently in its pipeline, including:

  • Chapter Buildings – a 407,000 sq. ft. two-building mixed-use commercial and life science project in Seattle’s University District neighborhood.
  • U-District Hotel – A to-be-announced 310-key, high-rise hotel at 43rd and Brooklyn, adjacent to the new light rail station and two blocks from UW’s campus.
  • Cascade Yard – a six-building, 14-acre commercial office campus in the city of Bellevue, Wash. that formerly served as the Lincoln Executive Center where redevelopment will add additional commercial and multi-family buildings.
  • Bel-Red/Spring District – a partnership with Sound Transit, Bridge Housing and Essex Property Trust that includes a 6.7-acre site with two Class A office/life science buildings totaling 480,000 square feet, two buildings with 235 affordable housing units, and two buildings with 266 market rate housing units.
  • Press Blocks – a one-and-a-half block site in Portland’s evolving Stadium District/Goose Hollow neighborhood including a 140,000 square foot, nine-story office tower; a 30,000 square foot, three-story office and retail building; and a 342-unit, 23-story luxury apartment tower.
  • Lloyd Center – a 39-acre mixed use development in the Lloyd district of downtown Portland, with development potential of over 3,000 apartment units, 1 million sq. ft. of office and 500,000 sq. ft. of retail/entertainment.
  • Park and Blake – URG also currently owns and operates four properties totaling 350,000 square feet of office in Denver, and also has two residential development sites in downtown Denver.

URG and Touchstone have also previously completed office, hotel and residential developments in the Portland and Seattle areas, including:

  • Canvas – a nine-story, 140,000 sq. ft. office building in Portland’s evolving Stadium District/Goose Hollow neighborhood (the first building completed in the two-phase, three-building Press Blocks development).
  • J.K. Gill – a ten-story historic building containing 100,000 sq. ft. of commercial space in Portland’s central business district (formerly known as the Gladys McCoy Building).
  • Summit III – a 370,000 square foot, three-building, Class-A office complex (acquired with leading global investment firm KKR in 2019) in Bellevue’s central business district that now totals just over 900,000 square feet.
  • Troy Block – an 811,520 sq. ft. commercial office project comprised of two distinct towers located in Seattle’s thriving South Lake Union neighborhood.
  • Tilt49 – a 290,573 square foot, 11-story commercial office project located in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood and adjacent to 41-story, 339-unit luxury residential tower, AMLI Arc (both buildings developed by Touchstone).
  • Hill7 – a 285,680 square foot, 11-story Class-A office project located in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood.
  • NorthEdge – a 210,000 square foot, four-story technology building and 38-foot-wide courtyard encompassing an entire city block in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
  • Hilton Garden Inn – a 222-room hotel project located in Seattle’s Denny Triangle neighborhood, adjacent to the Hill7 office building.
  • Everett Courtyard Marriot – a 156-room, eight-story hotel located in downtown Everett, includes meeting rooms, a restaurant, and 4,600 square feet of retail.
  • Issaquah Springhill Suites – a 145-room, five-story hotel located in downtown Issaquah.
  • Thompson Seattle/Sequel Apartments – a 250,000 square foot mixed-use building with a 158-room hotel and 93 apartment units located in downtown Seattle.
