Place-Centered Transformation of An Historic Asset

Acquired in 2015 in partnership with Stars Investments and City Street Investors, Market Center represents our first acquisition in Colorado. As five historic mixed-use buildings stitched together in the LoDo district of Downtown Denver, this asset presented a unique opportunity to bring more ground-level activation between Larimer Square and Union Station.

Over the span of three and a half years, Market Center underwent a major transformation with exterior improvements, pedestrian updates, enhanced building amenities, and upgrades to back of house systems. The $8 million renovation included expanded sidewalks and pulled out storefronts, façade and brickwork restoration, a new basement conference room, and a new lobby and lounge area, all of which contribute to an enriched user experience for tenants and pedestrians alike.
