Bainbridge Island, Wash., September 21, 2019

Urban Renaissance Group (www.urbanrengroup.com) (URG) today announced the opening of Bainbridge Island Bargain Boutique at 1050 Hildebrand, directly adjacent to the Island Village Shopping Center, on Bainbridge Island, Wash.

Located at 1050 Hildebrand Lane NE, the thrift store benefiting Seattle Children’s officially opened to the public on August 8th, 2020. The boutique has been located on the Island for more than 53 years and recently moved to its new location to provide for more accessibility for its customers and to accommodate a broader variety of goods.

“As a long-time Island resident, I know the value the Bargain Boutique brings to the Island and we’re proud to provide its new long-term home,” said URG Vice President – Regional General Manager, Shawn Jackson. “As a locally-owned company, having a connection to the community and providing a variety of quality offerings is very important to us, and we’re so excited to welcome this local icon to the Island Village shopping area.”

About six Urban Renaissance Group employees call Bainbridge Island home, and the company proudly owns and manages the Island Village Shopping Center, 901 Hildebrand Lane NE and 1050 Hildebrand Lane NE. As a result of this new lease, 100 percent of the 1050 Hildebrand building is now fully-leased with the Bargain Boutique and popular pet store, Paws & Fins.

“We’ve been fortunate to call Bainbridge Island home for more than 30 years and are excited to open our new space and expand our visibility within the community,” said Robin Denis, Bainbridge Island Bargain Boutique Manager. “Given our adjacency to other quality shopping and easy vehicular access directly off of Highway 305, we think this new location at 1050 Hildebrand is a perfect fit.”
