As Vice President - Regional General Manager at Urban Renaissance Group (URG), Thomas Kilbane is responsible for overseeing operations at the company’s Portland office, where he focuses on leasing, managing outside brokerage teamsand supporting URG’s acquisition team in identifying and pursuing local investment opportunities. As one of the original URG team members, he has been key in repositioning and transforming under-performing Class B buildings, helping to create a new “Historic Class A” office product that has emerged as one of the most active and desirable market segments in Portland’s Central Business District.
Thomas brings more than two decades’ successful sales and marketing experience to his role at URG. Prior to joining the company in 2006, he held executive roles at several well-known companies within the aerospace industry—including Westinghouse Electric Corporation, where he marketed high-power aircraft electrical systems, and at Rockwell Collins, where he led sales and marketing efforts for the Head-Up Guidance Systems for commercial aircraft. His deep knowledge and experience gives him a strong customer focus for both client and tenant audiences.
With a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton, Thomas also holds a real estate license through the State of Oregon Real Estate Agency. A member of the Urban Land Institute, he was appointed by the Portland Development Commission to serve on the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Advisory Committee. He is also a long-time member of the Overlook Neighborhood Association, where he has been heavily involved in zoning and neighborhood development.
